I have a layover of 5 hours at Charles de Gaulle airport. I'm sure it's not enough time to take a quick taxi ride around the city, SO...

Any advice on what to do with 5 hours, with a child and honey in tow? I'd love to see SOMEthing of the city, but are there any attractions near enough so that I won't miss my flight?

    Thanks!

Difficult amount of time, especially as you would have to have to go through immigration and security twice, but you could just about do it, if you don't mind paying for the taxi. You can get to central Paris in much less than an hour subject to traffic and the time of day, then you could get round many of the sites as the centre of Paris is very compact.

That said, CDG is like one big Designer Mall. I am sure you could enjoy the shopping whilst the Hon takes care of the young one.

Thanks, Drifter! Next time, I'll be planning on spending a lot more time in Paris. This time, I'm just going to be in a hurry to get home.
