I was going to mention that but you've beaten me to it. His acting in this movie was stellar.

He also had a role in the Prestige but I've not seen it yet and can't comment.

I thought the blending of his voice with Bing Crosby's was perfect for that song. It's a classic for me.

My taste for his music is all over the map. I liked the Labyrinth soundtrack, I liked Glass Spider, Look Back in Anger and the entire second side of his album Low.

One can only hope that Stardust wasn't any real influence on Boy George's drug use.

I doubt it, Chuck...that was just Fame catching up with him (another Bowie song...hmmmm).

I did fail to mention that I think Bowie is TOP NOTCH - I'm a big fan. He's fucking brilliant and plays what 6 instruments!? He's like Prince...a MASTER at making music!

Bowie never had a huge impact on my life, though I was affected by him indirectly...

Through Iggy Pop.

As we all know Bowie and Pop did a lot of shit together, and Bowie was probably a major force behind Pop's recordings.

And I consider Iggy Pop a god... So if Iggy likes David, then he's aces with me.

Bowie is a music god.

I admire him, his music, and his style.

He set the way to a whole new generation of musician (which I enjoy, industrial rock mainly)

Just a genius.
