7.5/8 inches -- how common?

How common are properly measured 7.5 / 8 inch penises in the wild? I'm talking the real world here, not us LPSG freaks (and I mean that in the kindest, most complimentary way). I define "properly measured" as bone-pressed, with a ruler along the top, while standing, with the penis held straight out and parallel to the floor. That is how the vast majority of the studies measure, so it's really the only way to accurately compare. This is not the thread to argue bone-pressed vs non-bone-pressed, besides, we all press anyway. Some draw blood.

My assumption, and belief, is that 7.5 true inches is actually very rare, 8 inches is very, very rare, and anything above 8 is, well, you get the idea. I guess I'm looking for some statistics here. I've seen several threads that offer some data, but I'd like to get a variety of opinions in one updated post. Thoughts?

Not so rare, seen many over 8 and I have almost 9. Now, over 9, that's rare.

Girth past 6.5 is not rare either. I'm a little past 6" girth around the middle.

Maybe it's the older guys with small ones, people are definitely bigger all around than they used to be, 6ft is more common.

I suspect age and physicality play a bit of a role; younger guys seem to be bigger, and it's proven that being heavier does keep dicks shorter. So you look at guys who are young and foolhardy and like showing off, or at least willing to talk about it, it's going to be more common than among EVERYBODY-everybody.

You're right, maybe age and physicality. I am young, 8% body fat at 160lb, not a very tall guy either.

It could also be guys over 7" tend to be show offs and people average or below barely boast about theirs.

I don't know. When young guys see these "not so rare" sizes in porn, they think the sizes are rare.

Girls tend to think my size is rare.

I think maybe 1% of the population possess a legit 7.5 NBP at most. BP is different. I'd say 7.5 bone pressed would be around maybe 8% based off what I read, 7.5 BP is about 7 NBP. -- this not rare, but relatively uncommon.

To believe them, the average is 5-6 inches. Maybe, but my throat and ass can attest that there are quite a lot of guys out there who are well north of 7.

PS: My (ex) wife did say, though, that I was her biggest. And she'd definitely had a few. Probably just being nice, though, I suspect.

There's also the fact that these percentiles are all over the place. I've placed as low as 75th and as high as 95th percentile with my 7.0" BP.

From a stats perspective there are so many confounding variables that most everything said here could factually accurate even if they seem incompatible or contradictory.
Off the top of my head:
-bush grooming visually adds a bit of size
-guys with bigger dicks likely less concerned about being questioned or seen
-thinner/flatter stomach/hips/legs add a bit to size
-6" on a petite guy looks a shitload bigger than 7" on a larger guy
-dick size is SOMEWHAT proportional to height. 3 guys 6'2" likely average slightly larger than 3 guys 5'7" with the shorter guys APPEARING noticeably larger

If I thought about it some more, I'm sure I could add quite a few more things to the list, lol.

Real World:
-If a guy makes you happy, are you really going to think of his dick as small... even if it is? I doubt it.
-Size matters, all other things being equal. But IRL all other things are not equal. A 6" guy who's skilled/a good fit/really into you will likely leave you more satisfied than a 7" guy who isn't. But that's my personal opinion based on experience.
-Perspective also counts. For example, I'm 6'0". Yes, I'm noticeably taller than average. However, it doesn't take me very long to find a guy who's taller than I am. Same applies to dick size.

Lastly, think back on your history.... How often is dick size really connected with how much fun you have with a guy? Probably not very.

I am 5' 6 tall, mine is a little over 7.5 with proper measurement from the top. If i measure from the side it is 8. Many girls say i have a big dick some being working girls. They have probably seen more dick than your average girl. So going by this 7.5+ is not common.

Many people measure incorrectly with a ruler, even more measure incorrectly with their eyes. A clear definition of "common" would suffice. 1 in 10, 1 in 40, 1 in 300, etc? I don't think 7.5-8 is uncommon. But that's just me.

Based on my personal experience, I'd put both my length and girth at about 75th percentile. Why? It's like my height, 6'0". Yes, I'm noticeably larger than average, but at the same time it won't take very long to find someone bigger than me.
