tears for fears is definitely my favourite band from the 1980's... songs from the big chair was the first album i ever went out and bought by myself at age 5... i also really dig the cure and DM, but got in to them in the 90's...

They weren't an 80's pop synth band, and the lead singer's voice is ridiculously annoying.
