80's Physique Model ID?

This guy was featured in an early 80's fitness book called Prime Cut (Fitness for Men 18-34). Don't know if he was just a (ripped) athlete at the gym where they did the shoot or if he had a career in modeling or bodybuilding.

The guy has amazing abs in these pics. A cut, rock solid eight-pack before the term “six-pack” was used

Total shot in the dark here, but if anyone recognizes him, has more pics of him or knows who he is, that would be great!

He is probably is his late 50s or early 60s now. Wonder if he stayed in great shape. Body fat did not appear to be an issue for him. or has ID that would be great
