9-11

9-11

How could we ever...

I think a lot of people have. Over time, we naturally forget the reality of the horror of that day, unless you were directly involved in it.

God bless all of those who perished so tragically that day.

Just curious...what are you reminding us of exactly?
Are you serious?!?

He is reminding us that eight years ago today 2,970 people got up, got dressed, ate breakfast, and went to work. Because of Osama bin Laden and Al Qaeda their hate and fear of something different, those people never came home.

Couldn't have said it better! Thank you!

I will tell you that as an American I don't think that I will EVER forget something like September 11, 2001. I don't like reliving shit like that every time September 11 rolls around. THAT is the fucked up part.

I woke up to the AM radio this morning to a rehash of 9-11 EVENTS. I quickly turned off my radio. (I sleep with my radio on to sleep at night. I should've known better to do that around this time.)

And forgetting about September 11 is never a choice I have or anyone else has for that matter. After all, people still remember THE HOLOCAUST. HIROSHIMA. PEARL HARBOR. VIETNAM.

Thank you for clearing that up. Actually we still don't know who was responsible or what actually happened that day. Now seriously...what am I being reminded of exactly?

Actually we do know, As Osama Bin Laden took credit within 36 hours. What dumbass planet are you from? You know what, don't answer. You have already proven yourself a fool. Sadly, your dick is bigger than your brain. :frown1:

This thread was to be a tribute and a memorial. Not a platform for you to spout nonsense.

Oh and speaking of 9-11 remembrances...

I believe Bush, Jr. was in office then.
We went to fight the war of Al Qaeda terrorism and search for Osama Bin Laden in Afghanistan...
how is it that we got detoured from Afghanistan to Iraq?

I remember a lot of crazy shit.
We can find Saddam Hussein but it seems that we can't find Osama Bin Laden.

And remembering people dying on that day and in this war isn't necessarily going to bring any of those people back. It is like trying to get over a dying relative and people keep telling you that you have to remember them dying. And telling you over in intricate detail of how they died. Crazy? Yeah.

Well, I can tell you that no one has to remind me of September 11. Everything reminds me of this unfortunate piece of history. So, no haterade implied to the OP. I am just expressing how I feel.

I was not going to post here, because I went to a memorial service today for a good friend who died on 9/11 and it was very moving. His family flies here every year; a small group of us meet to pay tribute to his life. I think about him almost every day.

In respect to the above post that has been deleted.... this is the reason.
YouTube - Kandidate- I don't wanna loose you
PS Thank you for deleting your message, because my emotions have been at a boiling point for the last day or two and your post made me cry for the first time. Maybe we should let go, but we don't want to. We have moved on, but we don't want to let go and I think we are should be allowed that because we don't want to forget.

It's so hard to believe its that it been eight years since the world watch as mad men took over and flew those airplanes into the towers and the pentagon, and of course the attempted take over of flight 96. All I can say is, May God grant peace to the families of the lost ones.
