Over the last month or so, I have been reading Bill Bast book Surviving James Dean. Bast was James Dean's friend and roommate over the last five years of James Dean's life. This morning, I had gotten to page 232:
"That evening, the last day of September, it was already getting dark early... when the phone rang. "Bill? Have you heard? Jimmy is dead."
Quite a coincidence. Unlike the movie, I won't read to much into this...
