Rob Zombie's Homage in his video is pretty decent too.

Not me. Kubrick blows goats. He was even more extravagantly overrated than Scorsese, and that's a real accomplishment. Maybe his only one.

Personally, I'm a lot more certain of Scorsese's worth than Kubrick's. But to each his own.
Eyes Wide Shut, Kube's last flick, was embarrassing, imho.
It's a great movie, and thats the only movie (besides the shining) of Kubrick's I like. I didnt say he was a great drector, I said the move was great.
I actually hate Stanley for what he did to Burgess once the shit hit the fan with A Clockwork Orange.

Like I said, I like a few of Kubricks movies, but as a person he is unrespectable, as an artist and a director he had some new ideas, but as someone who stands behind what he makes he is a foul little mouse-dog.
Right after A Clockwork Orange started getting knocked on by people, becuase off all the rape and ultra violence, Kubrick went running for the hills and left Burgess stand around with his dick in his hand. That's not something anyone should do.
Regardless, A Clockwork Orange is a great movie, and a better book.
