Some obsessions come and go - but I've had this for 10 years now - and I'm slightly concerned about the effects of this obsession.

I don't really want to say what it is- but it's a person.
The catch? I've never met them. I've been in the same room as them twice - and soon to be the third time in June.
It starts 10 years ago, ... I don't know what got me hooked but it did - and now it's like I'm addicted to them.
I can't speak to them. I can't really do anything.
I find myself fighting their corner when their downtalked in discussion and I have a strange relationship where I would want to date this person - but I feel more like an equal to them - I understand what they're going through -

sorry I can't be more specific but ...

Did you really expect anyone to understand that?

I can speak to an addiction I've had for a year now. pssht, who ever said ecstasy wasn't addictive, never crossed the likes of a borderline child.
