A few pictures of the ice/snow in central Missouri

Here are a couple pictures of the snow/ice we had in central Missouri. The tape measure would not go down through the 1 and 1/2 inches of ice we had.

to be back in the north country!

favorite time of the year ... after a blizzard would shut down the city ... I'd jump into my Sorels, my Siberian Huskies and I would take off into the snow, wave at the Nordic skiers, frolic for a while, return to sit before the fireplace, sip the scotch or bourbon, dine on a hot, hearty soup or stew ... enjoy a book, music, or movie ...

I do not knit. Two of my close friends do, and they've tried teaching me, but I just don't have the patience for it! I give up way too easily.

LOL, hey I just use those Knifty Knitter things from wal mart. I can't do it other wise. My left hand is partly paralized so I can't hold the needles right to do it, or the yarn. lol. And all I really make is a scarf 90% of the time. might do a hat here and there but thats all.
