That's the thing. I think I speak for a lot of Obama supporters when I say: If McCain had won, I would have said: Wow, a truly honorable and heroic man is our president. I may disagree with him on economic policies, but I have no doubt he will always do what he thinks is best for our country.

But way too many McCain supporters act as though we have put some kind of traitor or communist in the White House. McCain even had to chastise some of his own supporters during his gracious and patriotic concession speech last night.

It is you people who won't give Obama a chance, won't accept him as our president before he even takes the oath, that are unpatriotic and unAmerican.

Is your real name Trinity?
Oh dear Lord, he hasn't even taken the oath of office yet and already you racist fools are digging up and making up lies about him. :12:

I'm confused at how this is racism:confused: Did the OP produce the film clip in her back yard?

The attorney in the first clip diputes Obama's citizenship, but I don't see how that makes the OP a 'racist.'

Let me see if I have this straight....its okay for you to bash GW Bush (white man) relentlessly and for months. But, the OP posts a video addressing a citizenship issue with Obama (half black, half white) and the OP must be a racist....

Absolute:bsflag:

I don't really see racism. I saw some doubletalk as for how they were trying to prove Obama is not a citizen, but no racism.

Yes, and there's a key difference: she "bashed" GW Bush with facts; this post "addressed" Obama with an already-debunked-by-multiple-sources smear.

Prejudice allows a person to continue to believe statements that have been proven false, because prejudice blinds you to rational thoughts and acceptance of new information.

Prejudice - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

According to Wiki, it relates to prejudgement...not willingly dismissing facts.

There are too many inferences to 'racists' and 'racism' here on LPSG. People that choose to challenge or question the Obama Admin cannot do so without being labeled a 'racist.'

In my experience, those who flippantly use the term in debating and in life are usually the true racists.

Now why is it that I don't quite believe you with regard to your comment about how you would have supported McCain? Oh that's right-you are the one who would now like to have Palin gang-raped as shown in your statement here:
LPSG.ORG - View Single Post - Sarah Palin: "Africa is a country, not a contine in point of fact your comment was that if she were, then you would 'Jump for joy'. That doesn't sound to me like you are particularly supportive.

Here we go, so if anyone says anything about Obama, regardless if it's true of not that person is racist? Because people have never done this before to any white president correct?

I don't agree with what was linked, but that doesn't make that person racist for posting it or having a point of view. Lashing out with that accusation everytime there is any form of descent isn't going to unite this country.

QFT!

So when people bashed Bush over and over that was proven to be issues that both parties were responsible for, that's ok? There are ACTUAL REAL events that were hung on his head not ones that were made up. Is everyone that did that racist as well?

I'll ask again, if people voice descent towards Obama is that going to automatically mark them racist.

No, but it is suspect.

As for me being racist, I don't think I am; but you should probably ask somebody else. I know! Ask my white, boyfriend. :biggrin1:
