Rather sad than none of the claims in the article strike me as being implausible. I, myself, could use a pallet stacked with $100 bills as high as me. Anyone remember Laura Bush's personal secretary/assistant/shopper who showed how much the Bushes like to wrap gifts in uncut sheets of $1.00 bills because, "It's so much fun. " Never mind that it constituted defacing 'Mericuhn money which, according to the Treasury, is a felony.

    1) As much as anything this speaks to the inefficient spending practices of government regardless if the liberals or conservatives are in charge.

    2) I wonder what investigations are going on in Venezuela over govt. corruption. Actually, I wonder how many people have been taken out and shot for talking about govt. corruption.

Yeah, it looks as though Venezuela is tilting desperately towards despotism. Even the lovely Kirchners, Cristina and Nestor, are a bit unnerved at the recent election results tipping the balance in favor of their favorite photo-shot South American. Venezuelans are moving to Argentina in droves.
