I saw this video on YouTube and I personally found it very touching and endearing. The lady is protesting a recent political donation made by Target, she appears to be very genuine about her actions and I must say it's very admirable.

Political discussion aside, I think this was a very effective way of showing her displeasure at the big companies maneuver.

Take a look, what did you think?

I happen to work for Target, and when I heard about this I had one of those jaw dropping moments. I know the Target I work for is very gay friendly. The store manager (or in Target speak the store team lead) is a lesbian, the hr manager, is gay, and then I'd say at least a quarter if not a third of the employees are gay/lesbian/bi.

I don't know what the hell corporate was thinking when they gave that campaign donation, but it contridicts everything the store has stood for for years.

I too was very surprised by this, which is why I think her actions were all the more effective because she genuinely seemed surprised they would do such a thing.

She did it in a very good manner. I think she should broaden it out and keep it up though

Wow, I was shocked by a donation to that type of candidate.

I agree with Luka, Bravo lady!

She is a walking, talking example of the ideal PFLAG member, and as an aside, it's interesting to see what my generation is growing old into. We were always a bit odd.

Good for her. An example of a peaceful way of protest that has impact.

Good for her. But it's only the beginning of big companies injecting money into crooked people.
The beginning of Corporatocracy as we know it.

I have worked retail for about 25 years in just about every capacity you can imagine, including store manager and human resources and so on. I have worked for all of them, including a brief stint with Target back in the 90's. Out west. I can tell you without a doubt, they are all gay and race friendly. If they are not, there will be hell to pay from human Resources. Thats a fact. A company such as Target ( and others) play both sides of the isle . They often donate to the left and the right. This is common. This was nothing more than a professional political hack job. I wonder how much she was paid for this?I also note, it is illegal to film without permission. I wonder if she had their permission? If this candidate is ant-gay , go after the candidate. Jobs are scarce. The national unemployment rate is 9.5%. Which means there are 14.6 million unemployed in our country. Things will get much worse before they get better.

Jerry MaGuire follow the money. The way to get these candidates off the ballot is to remove the money. Unless you prove that Target did not give the money it is not a hatchet job (FYI not hack). There would not be a loss of jobs, but a shifting to other stores.

This will hurt Target more than it will hurt this candidate. The time and money spent on this video should have been spent attacking the candidate and his anti- gay position, leaving Target out of it. Our country is in a deep recession and headed for a depression. This may very well stop the gay consumers from shopping Target in many of their stores. We call it hack job in Jersey.
