A Hook Up Or A Beer?

I know a married guy and we briefly fooled around - touched each other in sauna about a year ago and I came etc. I sent him a message last week so say hello. He replied and said that if ever I was in his neck of the woods to let him know. He is married so it wasn't a home invite. I'm wondering if he was implying a hook up or a simple coffee or beer.
I want to see him but am wondering if it may be too obvious. Any suggestions how I can let him know that I'd like another brief NSA hookup?

I see it as two possibilities - first - just be direct and ask. You have a little history so it would make sense.
You take the lead and suggest beer/coffee - while you are having a discussion work that into the conversation. "I was just thinking the other day... and what he says.

My hunch is yes - he would like to hook up, but that is my gut - the above to are based more on logic/reason

Don't know bruh, I'm straight and if I asked to meet a bi or gay friend it would be for beers and a grill or to watch the game for something like that.
However you said you guys fooled around a little so maybe the dudes curious, maybe best to meet him for a drink and ask him that way bruh.

He may of just said that being polite not really wanting anything. Check in to a hotel and ask him if he wants to meet you in the bar. Casually mention the last experience and see what he says. Easy to transition to going to your room if he is interested otherwise he can say no thanks and he can leave.
