Sorry. Didn't see one. And the name on it sounded rather generic so I wondered if anyone had heard it. It gave no info on sampling or statistical data. Probably crap.Link to study ?
Umm, no. Not within a 30 year timeframe for human genetics. That’s just ONE generation, which is clearly not long enough to make conclusions about natural selectionMate selection and genetics…..men with larger penis being able to reproduce more resulting in offsprings with larger penis sizes over time.
Here is the real study in case anyone is interested.
Worldwide Temporal Trends in Penile Length: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis
Let's say it's not really done well. In half of the used studies for this meta analysis the methodology wasn't even mentioned. The mean stretched and flaccid has gone down drastically but erect size has gone up drastically since 1990? Furthermore they say it's a trend across several regions? While having super tiny numbers of test subjects in lot of studies?
This study isn't worth the paper it's on imho.
They did worse than Veale in his meta analysis and that tells a lotMeta analyses are hardly qualified to make deductive statements like, “penises are bigger”. If anything it shows a potential trend that further repeatable studies would verify. I didn’t look up all the studies used and their methods, but I’m immediately skeptical that they are combining data from 75 studies over 80 years. Is it possible, sure. Is it probable, no.
