Gotta give you and Max the extra 20 points for your attempts, though. Just seeing such clear-headed arguments in support of GLBTs living open and free lives without the threat of discrimination and confronting someone who so proudly shakes his clothes hangers from inside his closet made me pause, smile, and respect you both even more.

I have to chime in and say that I fell the same way about the arguments you guys presented (after I stopped posting in this thrad). Having been there and done that (a) as a Black man fighting stereotypes of an urban upbringing (black guys aren't smart, tall and muscular ones must be athletes, if they are smart they went to public school), (b) as a young gay man struggling with coming in and coming out, and (c) as a black gay man fighting the inter-community stereotype that none of us are butch, its refreshing to see people form intelligent arguments.
After being here a while, you really can get tired or trying.
As I mentioned before (and numerous times in other threads over the years), loving yourself is the first and most important step.
Good show.
