What makes me angry is the gay men who just refuse to take no for an answer. There have been about 4 nice straight guys, with whom I used to chat, over the years here who were run off by that kind of behavior.

I'm sure you know that sexual orientation is not black and white. There are lots of guys who consider themselves mostly straight who occasionally have sex with other men. Often, alcohol or drugs lowers their inhibitions enough that they feel comfortable doing things that they wouldn't normally do.

I have straight friends I joke with, pretend to hit on them. They know I'm not serious I make sure of that. There are a couple of friends that are not exactly comfortable with it and that's cool I'm not trying to fuck them anyway. It is all in the guys you hang out with. What happened to the OP is harsh but the ugly truth is that there really are some homophobic straight men out there.

To me the only difference between a straight mate and a gay mate is that one strictly sleeps with women and the other with men. Bisexuals have the best of both worlds I suppose. Nevertheless, sexual orientation plays no part whatsoever in my treatment towards people I count as friends.
