YES VERY IMPORTANT, Oral sex of any kind is very intimate and you must feel secure in the person giving it. I am still nervous about how to perform and give my husband great pleasure. Well my question was serious because on this site peeps are always saying that they want to lick or suck whatever part of other's bodies. It just seemed pretty common to me that guys want to lick girls. So I thought I'd ask women what they feel about it. There seems to be a big disconnect between what guys desire and what women really will allow us to do.

Thanks for asking. My take on my own question is this: If the situation were reversed & you asked guys if they would have to love or care about a person before she gave him head, I think most guys would say "absolutely no". For some reason the pleasure that guys get from getting head is so great that the issue of emotional intimacy might not ever come up. I guess I think it's fascinating how females and males can be so entirely different. I know my girlfriend gets more aroused when she's feeling extra emotionally close to me. I think I get more emotionally invloved when I know I'm pleasing her. So it's an interesting dynamic to me. Maybe that's also part of the sexual tension you talk about.

This is the entire reason why I would have a hard time just allowing any guy give oral love. Feeling closer to the person allows you to take my arousal to another level that casual sex couldn't touch.
