Well - the poll isn't really about dating men, or men at all so, if I were you, I'd choose one of the 'attracted to women' options.

I was interested to see if having a preference at all (for long or short) went with being attracted to women. And I also thought it'd be interesting to see how the preferences differed between the sexes.

I expected men who were attracted to women to tend to prefer long hair. I was right about that.

I expected both men and women who weren't attracted to women to come out as a fairly even split between the 3 options. I was right about the men but very wrong about the women. I guess I didn't take into account that most women know men tend to prefer long hair and that a lot of the respondents may have been answering for what they prefer on themselves, not what they prefer on other women. I see now my OP was a little unclear on that as I waffle on about how I like my own hair.

I expected women attracted to women to be a pretty even split too - I was wrong about that.

I guess, looking at that, it appears I understand men better than I do women - at least in terms of hair preferences.

Generally, I like longer hair, though this is hardly anything I'll be picky about. The only thing I really dislike on women is buzz-cuts.

It really depends on the girl like alot of people have said, but I LOVE when short-to-medium hair suits a girl

I love both. I picked no general preference since I didn't think my very small preference towards short was enough to say generally. I think a lot is influenced by my mood (and of course the girl, but I guess we are supposed to take that out of the equation), and how I see the image of it. Short can see cute and quirky and nice to be around. Or it can say chic and hip. Long hair can say wild and sexy or fit and sporty. You get the idea.
