into the drug store to buy his first condums. After much lookin/not looking and trepidation he makes his choice and proceeds to the checkout counter where the following takes place-

As the conveyor belt moves along it stops and the checker says “That will be $10.99 plus tax”

The young man, with a look of horror replies “I thought they stayed on by themselves not with tacks”
