Aaron Audette (A3)

Does anyone know what ever happened to Aaron Audette and his boyfriend Graydon Locke? They were online personalities from Toronto in the late 90s, and suddenly completely disappeared from the Internet. I have always wondered how two people who were so immersed in what was then social media (or the outset of SM at least), could completely wipe away any online footprint.

Any info on them? Are they still together, living a quiet life in Toronto or somewhere else in Canada?

Wow....that is a my name from my past. We used to do the whole online journal thing together. Talked to him on the phone so many hours. Good times.

I spoke to him a few times as well, since he gave out his phone number. Do you know what happened to him and/or Graydon? It's like they've literally disappeared... how can they have no digital footprint whatsoever in today's age?

I don't. The last time we spoke was in 2013. We used to do the online journal thing together before it was "blogging". I had a page at www.gaystreet.com/satansson called Troy's Homepage and Aaron, myself, and a guy named Tommy used to always post on each other's sites. I still have Aaron's page photos, just found them last week LOL. I did try to find him online, something I'm pretty good at -- but the only lead I could really find is an Aaron Audette that works for Empire in Canada as a salesperson. The age is about right -it is hard to say if it's him, people age differently *shrug*. Attaching the photo of him and one of me way back when - maybe we chatted back in the 90s haha. But the only email I have of Aaron was the old triplea@badpuppy.com which I'm sure is disconnected and I lost the phone number in the 2000s when I lost my phone.

Thanks for sharing. I don't have clear pics of Aaron since back then the photos were no where near as clear as they are today from a digital perspective. Side by side comparison... what do you think?

It's hard to say. I think it could be him, yeah. The nose is the only thing throwing me off as his nose seems bigger than Aaron's did. But the smirk is similar lol

I, too, was one of those who followed and interacted with Aaron, Graydon, and Tommy...and they happened to cross my mind this evening. And that's how I ended up in this thread.

They really did just disappear from the web at some point! I managed to find this link which I think is a copy of Aaron's old website...though with his name scrubbed and replaced by "Owen Orson Ovide". I seem to recall the original site having much more content but this snippet seems like it was probably authentic before it was changed:

Assuming any of what Aaron said was true, his parents were extremely wealthy...and bought him a 1997 Dodge Viper as a graduation gift. If that was high school, then that would put him at about 44 years old in 2023.

I did run across that "other" Aaron Audette pictured above...but if the original Aaron was as wealthy as he claimed, then I'd kinda doubt that the "other" one is him.

Nothing on Graydon Locke either. Nothing.

Not sure why I was thinking this but I went back to my photos of Aaron and Graydon and realized they never took a picture together. Or at least I don't recall ever seeing them in the same photo. I always found that odd.

Well, it took almost a year but I don't have a habit of getting on LPSG...so congratulations, Troy! I'm hoping that you and your partner have already tied the knot by now!

Incidentally, here is the link I found to Tommy's blog; apparently he lost contact with Aaron as well and tried reaching out in hopes of finding him. The last entry was in 2018; his IG acct still exists but it's set to Private.
