Here's what I put on the long-running Hernandez thread:

Hernandez has just been found guilty of first degree murder in the death of Odin Lloyd.
He was also found guilty of unlawful possession of a firearm and unlawful possession of ammunition.
He will be sentenced later today. He faces mandatory life in prison without parole. Massachusetts doesn't have the death penalty.

The decent thing to do before going to prison would be for him to release some pix of his giant penis. And I don't need to be reminded what an awful person he is - we all know where we're reading this...

If someone finds those two dick pics, I'm sure some of us would like to see them. I hope he got use use from it, 'cause unless he has a compliant cellmate he's going to have to settle for his hand for the rest of his life.

Whoa. What a story -- a guy who had all the good things life could offer -- but it wasn't enough.

I've wondered about something since all this started and I saw him out of his football gear. I have heard of "roid rage" when someone's been on steroids too much and too long. I just wonder if that was it.

One more thing. Maybe he's just a real bastard and was finally found out.

He used to take crystal meth. and that make a person very paranoid. He thought Odin was talking behind his back. It was all in the trial

This is supposed to be a big factor.
But some people have suggested that his personality really shifted after the death of his father, whom Hernandez worshipped. He was 16 at the time.
A lot of adults who knew Hernandez when he was much younger have spoken in positive terms about the kind of character he at one time seemed to have.
It's all a mystery.

He faces another murder trial which begins in May. From what I have read someone bumped him on the dance floor at a club. He thought the guy who bumped him was out to kill him so he and a male friend left, got his car and waited outside until the guy left with another guy. They got into their car and Hernandez followed the them for a good distance and saw him pull up at a red light. They got in the lane next to the guy and pulled up. The friend has told police that Hernandez stuck his gun out the window and unloaded on the guy who had no idea who or why this was happening. There were 2 in that car and he killed both of them according to the guy who was with him. This story gives even more credence to the idea that he was on something that caused paranoia and rage......OR, he is just inhumanely mean. Judging from his demeanor in court he seems to have no feeling for his victim or Odin's family.

I am more upset he threw away other people's lives. His murder victims' lives, his family, etc. Drugs or deceased father notwithstanding, he is an adult responsible for his own actions. Terrible, awful person. Deliberate murder, not crimes of passion. I hope his prison cell is uncomfortable, and the world will be better off without him.

His lack of reaction when the verdict was announced suggests that he is a sociopath without any remorse for what he has done.
