It’s a hookup site and you usually have to verify your identity by holding up a piece of paper with writing etc on it, well at least for trans and female profiles anyway

Is the profile verified? In my experience there is no mandatory verification process
yeah but even some fakes get verified, not quite sure how but they do. Its happened to me a few times.
thanks. just wanted to check this verification thing. it's no different than on here, verification is optional. it's recommended so people know you're what you're claiming to be(especially to prevent men from pretending to be women), but the verification page doesn't say you must verify who you are.
it also says you don't need to show your face in the verification pic https://www.fabswingers.com/photoverification which is just like lpsg, you don't need to show the face, just the body while holding a paper with the site's name. and then your profile will be marked as verified.
however, unlike lpsg, with fabswingers, your verification pic isn't public, only admins will see it and it won't be displayed on your profile. so if someone's decent enough at faking a written sign into a pic of his, that'd be enough to get verified, and since no one else can see the pic, if it were a fake, no one that's seen the real aaron naked would know.

so basically it's really easy to just get verified with a fake.
meaning we're still not sure this is actually him, and it could be a catfish
exactly, I think you can even be verfied by another user, so he may have just got a friend or someone random to verify him.
some guys go on webcam and dont show face, then get verified.
