Oh, and your thoughts on restricting access to abortions for the poor... apparently motivated by the desire to stop having to spend money on the poor...

I'm tired of being robbed, however, for the benefit of idiots and deadbeats. I would rather these people would have to fend for themselves, instead of the relentless and multi-generational bloodsucking that will never end until somebody puts a stop to it.

Paying for abortions is just exacerbating the problem and getting us more and more away from the solution.

I am pro choice. I normally dont agree with congressman Stupak of Michigan. But his eloquence in support of Obama and the health care bill in making an agreement by presidential executive order was truly an inspired moment in American political history. the Repugnantcan congresspig that called Stupak a "baby killer" is similar to the ones who called used the n word and the f word to describe black and gay congressmembers. All of these comments came from those who oppose the new health insurance reform law. This is just more proof as to how bigoted, hateful, and pathetic the opponents of Obamacare are. Hell is full of them and wants more!

i agree that everyone should have medical insurance, but anyone that wants me to pay for a 'romp in the hay' for somebody that has absolutely no respect for human life, no respect for women, and doesn't give a damn about any of the consequences - eh, who are they looking out for?

There was never ANY language in ANY version of the Healthcare bill that EVER offered to pay for abortions.
In fact- it specifically and pointed kept IN PLACE the CURRENT and long standing ban on federal monies paying for abortions.

Now.... pay attention you dumb cluck because this is where you guys really screwed up... IF WE HAD NATIONAL HEALTH CARE, THEN NO ONE WOULD HAVE COVERAGE TO GET ABORTIONS...

Because the Feds are not allowed to fund abortion... and national health care would have made it so anyone wanting an abortion would have to pay for it out of pocket.


See? you dolts missed your big chance to save the unborn... Why? because you are too deep in the pocket of the insurance companies to be able to back your 'beliefs' about abortion.

Phil - you should have called Stupak and shared this information with him last week so they wouldn't have needed that executive order to get his vote!

Phil and Starinvestor, read the bill summary again. abortions will be done with public money in case of rape, incest or to protect the life of the mother. period.
This is why Stupak and the other pro-life Democrats accepted the presidential executive order signed today.
Then accept the fact:YOU LOST A BIG ONE. The American people won . Both the Gallup poll and CBS poll now show public opinion 5-4 IN FAVOR of the new legislation.
