Actually, most gay clubs are just like straight clubs, except that if you fancy a guy you know that you can approach him in the likelyhood that a) he is gay, or b), that if he is not gay, he is not going to be offended.

Oh, and the music is better.

So please, if you guys can spare me some specific tips or suggestions on what to do in a gay club (I know I just have to be 'natural' but cmon that's actually really hard for someone like me you know...)

Many different types of gay clubs exist. There are types of gay clubs I wouldn't be interested in going to, and others I'd be completely uncomfortable in. I'd suggest going to a place you know (from experience) that you'd be comfortable in for New Year's Eve and then try a gay club some other night. There's no point in ruining your New Year's Eve in a club you'd prefer not to be in.

Almost every time I see the words "Gay Club" I can not help but imagine a Gay Caveman, whacking another Caveman with his 'gay club', and dragging him off to his cave.

I am not really a club patron,; but I did watch all seasons of Queer as Folk. I thought all Gay clubs were like Babylon
