Formulaic and all of their songs sound the same?

At the end of the day, does it matter?

I say no, and rock out with my ... well, you know.

I agree completely. Why just yesterday, as I listened to Thunderstruck, I couldn't help but reflect on how truly awesome AC/DC is and that I should be thankful that it's not like so many other bands that have aged...ungraciously.

Personally, I love AC/DC... it's such straightforward, balls-to-the-wall ROCK; hell, even Angus himself admits to making the same album many times over!! sure, they use the same chords and drum patterns, but they do so in a way that's just so fuckin' COMMANDING... there's really no point in trying to look too deeply into it - for, after all, it's only rock 'n roll..

Bon Scott's real talent was just being the fuckin best. He was never over the top, no pretensions, nothing. And he's still the greatest frontman in rock history.

You look (pausing to take a bite of steak and a sip of merlot) like you're good at taking pictures. Then again, when the subject is beautiful, the photographer is a genius.

Speaking of Aussies, everyone check out Airbourne. They seem to be heir apparent to AC/DC on the throne of kick-ass, in your face hard rock. North American tour soon, i hope.

I heard them on the radio yesterday and thought they sounded awesome. And lets not forget Wolfmother!

They may BE formulaic. The formula works. They rock!

And based on your "Leaner" pic, JC8, it looks like you are rockin' out with your Big Balls! (someone here had to be obvious about that one)
