Nah, it just changes where the bar is located. For the people at the bottom of the tech-savvy scale, it's much harder to figure out how to post video compared to images. For the people at the top of the tech-savvy scale, it's still possible to doctor moving images.
And (of course), regardless of tech-savviness, there's nothing to stop people from posting images of videos of other people and pretending it's them.
Credibility in this medium isn't easily demonstrated with pictures. The way to establish it is the hard honest route. People who tell the truth on here never have to keep track of their lies. The stories they tell in April are consistent with those they told last October. When questioned, they're able to provide further information instead of getting defensive and attacking the questioner.
