I been reading reports and studies on the Coronavirus. There is a lot of talk and research going into Ace Receptors and their ability to take protein with the virus. I take a Ace inhibitors for blood pressure and see several studies linking them to greater susceptibility to get the virus.
Anybody else hear or read this. I plan to call my Dr. tomorrow and switch to a beta blocker.

Interesting, I was reading data on subjects before they get the virus. My goal is to avoid it till a vaccine is approved. Nice to know if I get it the Ace Inhibitors are not a problem, but I also read where users of Ace inhibitors had a greater susceptibility to get the virus.

I literally just watched a video on Covid and medical rumors. The ACE inhibitor/Covid hypothesis was posted to a prepublication site (where researchers put their papers to get input from other researchers). It's not been proven nor impirically tested. It should never have been seen publicly but some people just can't help themselves from nosing around.
