I don't even know what that means. Of course we don't cater to a specific minority group. We are not racists.

The truth is that all liberals, black, white, latino, etc believe in vast differences in people based solely on race. In fact, based on the way they treat each other, I believe that your many liberals, especially those in leadership positions truly believe that the black race in inferior to whites. Why else do they go so far out of their way to help them just because they are black? Sometimes it looks like even black liberals think that they are inferior to whites! Why else do they so often try to play the victim, as if they themselves believe they need special help to keep up with their white counterparts?

While I would never assert that the Republican party is free of their fair of racists, conservatism in spirit is a MUCH MUCH less racist way of life. We believe that everyone should be treated equally, both bad and good because we believe that blacks have just as much a capacity to succeed academically and professionally as all the other races. We believe in equal opportunity, not holding back an entire race and propping up another in order to get equal result. Affirmative action has got to be the most racist policy since slavery. What an INSULT it the black race! And all it does is foster racism among the other races who will then really believe that Blacks are too stupid to achieve at levels that other races do.

In my opinion, racism will be on its way out when everyone wakes up and realizes that the racism that the left has painted the right to be is actually a PROJECTION (look it up in you psychology book) of their own racist feelings and opinions. That just because white southerners have the same accent as those you see in movies like Mississippi Burning and other antiquated race inflaming movies that it doesn't mean they want to buy, sell, beat, lynch or otherwise degrade black people.

There's a saying I heard once that you might find interesting.
"That's mighty white of you".

I only mention this old expression because it's really something to have a white male saying that racism isn't really as bad as other races make it seem. Tell me, have you ever had to do twice as much as others just to be perceived as equal? You seem to want to portray the Democratic Party as holding back minorities in order to keep us down so that they can be perceived as our "saviors". The truth is that it is the Democratic Party that realizes and accepts that the playing field in this country is still not level. Take a look at the higher positions in big business and you'll find white male faces. When they need to hire new execs who do they turn to? Graduates from prestigious universities most of whom are white. Those same universities tend to select white applicants for several reasons including family connections(legacies) and financial(minorities can't get funding for education).
I've worked hard for everything I have ever received. I was in honors courses and the gifted program from kindergarten through high school and had to pretend not to hear the comments from parents of classmates that assumed I was only in the program due to a quota system. I had to do more than my classmates just to prove that I belonged. Since entering the workforce I've witnessed less qualified people get promoted over me and then found myself expected to train my new boss on how to do their job. I eventually left because it was clear that race was a factor when it came to promotions as was made clear when several other individuals made complaints (and some of those complaining were white).
The point is that unless you are someone that has to deal with discriminatory practices on a semi regular basis then you have little ground to stand on when telling members of the discriminated groups that there isn't a problem.

All aspects of the activity were done properly to my knowledge. My impression is that Republicans were irritated that Blacks were being registered, since their votes are traditionally mostly favorable to Democrats. The entrapment was done by people attempting to discredit ACORN. The actions of a few cast a bad light on the organization, and this was blown out of proportion. My illustration is merely one small aspect of the work done by ACORN, but they worked organizing around the nation to improve the lives of the poor and disadvantaged. This did not set well with the fat cats, the corporation-lovers, the ones who already had theirs and didn't give a damn about improving the situation of a large proportion of our populace.

James O'Keefe, the ACORN videotaper, has to pay $100,000 and write an apology to Juan Carlos Vera, an ACORN employee.

In 2009, O'Keefe recorded an interview with Vera at his ACORN office in an effort to get tidbits of information to make a video to release to the public. As his other videos, O'Keefe was likely going to edit and distort the words of those being interviewed to make it seem as if the (partly) government-funded ACORN was operating illegally or immorally. Now it seems as if O'Keefe was the only one acting illegally or immorally.

For those who have already forgotten, here is part of O'Keefe's wiki:

He gained national attention for his release of video recordings of workers at ACORN offices in 2009, his arrest in early 2010 at the office of Senator Mary Landrieu in a failed attempt to record staff conversations, and release of videos of NPR executives in 2011. Investigations by both legal authorities and journalists have found O'Keefe has "selectively", "heavily" or "deceptively" edited secretly recorded videos to leave a false impression and present the subjects in the worst possible light.

O'Keefe, imo, is a felon and domestic terrorist. He received a bullshit probation sentence after breaking and entering the offices of U.S. Senator by (fraudulently) impersonating a phone repairman.

Also bullshit is the pocket change he has to pay for his deliberately LIBELOUS misrepresentation of the facts (re. Acorn) which ultimately cost the organization their funding.

Instead of doing time in jail for all the above, this fucker gets support from conservative groups and even has his OWN tax exempt organization.
