yes- but there are 10,000 Singer rumors- with THAT much smoke- there's a fire somewhere! People demanded proof from Harvey Weinstein's victims at one point, too. The casting couch is infamous from George Cukor to Bryan Singer- allegedly. The only proof people would accept would be photos/videos of situation... a young actor trying to break through sure wouldn't have that proof and the predator wouldn't be flashing it around proving the case against him, so demanding proof is kind of puerile. Either you believe the countless rumors or you don't.

Perhaps, but ignoring the fact that to my knowledge he’s never been convicted (by the courts at least) of these crimes, that doesn’t mean that every young actor he hired was misused.

I don't think he's ever been charged with sexually harassing men he's hired, so he couldn't have been convicted in the casting arena, plus- if they willingly had sex with him, it's not a crime-. None of them have spoken up- ANY insinuation in Hollywood that you're gay or have dome something gay, will hurt your career, so none of the possible guys have come forward- like all the women who never came forward about Weinstein, until there was an actual case (even if there is a Singer case- because of the gay stigma, I doubt they'd join in). The people who tried to sue Singer were ones claiming statutory rape/abuse of minors, etc.

He’s paid them off. Let’s be clear. If you were in West Hollywood 10 years ago, you’d see Bryan Singer out and about… he convinced bouncers to let friends in without checking ID, he’d buy drinks young looking guys…. And once he kept getting recognized he started to throw parties at his place. It’s disgusting.

With that being said, i don’t think Ben Hardy did the casting couch thing. He was already very well known and “up and coming” in the theater circuit (and yes bristling soaps). It helped that Singer probably found him attractive, but from what I’ve heard, Hardy isn’t a boy toy. He’d prefer to live in a shitty apartment in NYC and still get to perform than sell himself to a pedophile .

I actually work in production and it would be rare to expend the budget on special effects for what appears to be a subliminal cock shot ala Fight Club but who knows. Maybe all the young actors have prosthetic demands in their riders now. For anything with a regular budget though, the shot would just be reworked and the actor would be wearing a modesty such anyways.
