It's bad. And he knows he used OnlyFans' reputation to get subscribers. No one wants to read a generic SFW creepypasta comic on OF. I'd potentially be down to subscribe if it was exclusively NSFW illustrations and comics, but let's not kid ourselves: we subscribed because we thought we'd be seeing nude photos.
At least be honest about your intention and what exactly you'll be posting. I imagine a lot of people are going to be unsubscribing in September...

I’m giving him the benefit of the doubt, I don’t think he’s scamming people per se. I think he’s got his hands in too many pots (in ways of making money) That said using only fans as an artist feels wrong to me unless he’s planning on making hentai because it’s common knowledge only fans is a “sexy place” lol

I don't really think that's the issue. Yes, patronize artists whose work you enjoy. The issue is that Adam knowingly used the reputation of OnlyFans and coyly advertised his new account on his social media without really stating what would be inside. It's not really about the money, since it's only $5 after all, but more about trying to entice people to spend money knowing he's not going to give them what they're subscribing for (nudes of him).

There is a fundamental difference between patreon and onlyfans.
Patreon is mostly just a donation or funding/kickstarter platform with added benefits. While some people use it like a typical content subscription, many other people use it as just a way to say thank you to their supporters, some don't even provide exclusive content. So content on patreon is generally seen as a thank you and less as a product you directly buy.
Onlyfans is VERY different to that. Content on onlyfans is absolutely a product that you can buy, your subscription is not a donation but a monthly payment to allow you to access content. Because of that, you should be allowed to expect to get your money's worth. And right now there is absolutely no content on his onlyfans that justifies a 5$ subscription.
I'm not saying that he scammed people, he didn't promise anything after all, but he obviously used onlyfans reputation as a way to earn even more money.
But as I said before, I'd love to be proven wrong though.

Even if he posts content of himself, I bet it's mainly going to be PG-13. Shirtless selfies, maybe butt. I mean he's already tweeted his butt out as part of a meme, so it's not like we haven't seen it already. I wouldn't expect any dick, hole, or sexual content. But I'm willing to be surprised and have my opinion changed

OF is not entirely there for porn. Adam could choose to use it for cartoons and drawings, and there is nothing that anyone could do to stop, amend, or alter this. He could post shirtless pics from now 'till Christmas. Maybe he will get loads of money and then disappear from the Internet like a ghost in the night.
I've yet to subscribe to him at all (for one thing, I have no doubt that the "I'll show my dick for X" was some kind of scam or joke or ruse). I just have the realism gene. Adam can charge the world whatever he wants. It's up to his morality the extent to which he uses that money on OF.

It takes time to post to either and as a fan I don't mind being a patron of either. He honestly doesn't owe anyone anything... So you can demand whatever you want but ultimately it's his decision to post what he feels like. Trust he's not the worst out there using OF platform. Many people do little to nothing and charge a lot more. Patience, and I'm sure things will decently begin to be posted. He's also has sub goals for more content so again I'm happy to keep at it to add to the numbers to get more juicy stuff
