Kara DioGuarsi was on The View on Friday and was asked whether Adam's being in the closet had hurt his chances at winning to which she answered "No, because I don't think he ever was in." She went on to say that Adam had been very clear about who he was all along and that there were pictures all over the internet that clearly established his sexuality and that she didn't feel that had affected the vote.

Apparently there are a number of people who are angry with her now, feeling she's outed Adam by confirming what he has yet to be specific about.

Yes, it is, because it clearly states, "American Idol Winner", which he wasn't at the time, nor was he when the whole thing was over. It is not until you read Rico's entire original post do you see his explanation for his phraseology. Even though you might agree with his rationale, it is misleading nevertheless because those of us who weren't following the contest closely (and might have only had a passing interest in who won) might have been lead to believe Lambert had actually won. It's not a huge deal.
