I wonder that myself. He keeps doing these gay erotic thriller/erotic fantasy movies, a of them for a company called Babaloo studios. They don't look like great movies, and they're largely twink-centric. Like, at some point within the past five or so years, they started having him sort of be the "daddy" character.
I love him, though. I think he's so fucking cute, great body, and I kind of love that he sorta has this bitchy/sassy undertone to everything he does, plus he's a pretty solid hunk. He just has that babyface, I guess, and his men.com/randyblue days will always be there, so he's going to be a forever twink in the minds of people who remember him.
He's not even that obscure in the world of gay porn, but in the early/mid 2010s, when he was kind of everywhere, he never quite cracked the threshold of being a featured player.
I skimmed some interviews he did where it kind of seemed like he loved doing porn, but he didn't always love the state of the industry and the roles he'd get. He did end up doing a lot of "frat bro"-themed stuff for men.com, and it kind of seemed like he wasn't that jazzed about it.
I like his look, and I think he's kind of getting hotter as he gets older - even though he's kind of disappearing - I did get a look at him in a trailer for one of these erotic fantasy movies that came out this year. He looks great. Not like he looks old at all, he's only like 37, but what age is showing on him looks great on him. Who doesn't love a twunky daddy? I mean, "daddy" is a stretch unless you're coming from the perspective of like a 20 year old, but you know what I mean. He doesn't look 25 any more. But I think he still looks amazing.
My curiosity lead me to try to buy one of these movies - knowing that they'd be weird/bad, but it's porn, so who cares - but the first time, the studio's site just seemed to not be working, and this time, I was just a bit hesitant to pull the trigger on it.
Another thing I like about him is that he's an actual porn actor, not just some dude who looks good naked. It's not even that he's a fantastic actor, but he actually knows how to do the acting part of the job kind of seamlessly in conjunction with doing the hardcore content, and he's not precious about it.
These erotic fantasy movies look corny, weird, and bad. It's not like they don't pretend to be porn, but it seems like they think they're doing something more than that, and I just worry that it will end up being like a bunch of weird, corny, poorly executed scenes that try to add something to the hardcore content, but that will just feel awkward, bizarre, and silly. And these movies seem like they're like 50-70 minutes of narrative with like sexual tension and teasing involved, and then 15-20 minutes of actual hardcore content. If you don't like the other part, you're kinda paying a lot for what basically adds up to one hardcore scene.
I don't pretend to know him at all, but it kind of seems like he likes that kind of thing better because he likes doing porn, and he likes actually acting too, and these corny, low-budget sort of dirty novella movies let him do that.
From the article I read - If I can find it again, I'll link it - it kind of seemed like he liked being a classic exhibitionist and everything, but not necessarily a lot of the other things that come along with working in the industry. I know that probably seems weird and precious to a lot of people, but I guess I kinda get it. Just because you are good at/enjoy sexually objectifying yourself doesn't mean you want to do that all the time and be expected to be "on" any time someone recognizes you on the street.
Maybe he likes the lower profile, but still being able to do the things he likes to do: act and get naked on camera and fuck.
Anyway, glad somebody else out there likes him.
