Joe Biden is a centrist at best. The fact that he is considered left by Americans just proves my point
Man, he isn't considered FAR LEFT by the 81 million people who voted from them. They would all be quite surprised to find out the USA is a far right country.

This is what happened at the insurrection if they just thought you were "antifa". But yet so many conservatives want to blame the riot at the capitol on antifa infiltrators. So much bullshit.

The government was so concerned with antifa that they chose to ignore the real threat of far right Trumpism.

America is a far right nation. Always has been and will be.
Same shit in this country. Successive g'ments have spent squillions shitting themselves about every conceivable type of terrorism* except for the far right.

*various scandals have included the police infiltrating: animal rights groups, environmental groups, an extended and disproportionate focus on Muslims, as witnessed by some of these little obscenities...

  • UK undercover policing relationships scandal - Wikipedia
  • Secrets and lies: untangling the UK 'spy cops' scandal
  • Undercover Police Cases To Be Reviewed
  • After a threatening letter was sent to Torbay Islamic Centre in September 2013, one of those who had also daubed graffiti and admitted conspiracy, had a terror manual on his computer (inspired by Breivik and EDL) and he only received a suspended sentence;
  • The leader of the UK arm of the Jewish Defence League, Roberta Moore, was found guilty of assaulting two people at a pro-Palestinian event in Haringey after invading the platform whilst being armed and received a sentence of 150 hours of community service and a small fine with no involvement of antiterror officers.
  • 2 years in prison for EDL member Ryan McGee for building a viable nailbomb as he was "not terrorist but immature teenager" vs. 6 years in prison for Ms Runa Khan who put promoting terrorism on Facebook and 12 years for Yusuf Sarwar and Mohammed Ahmed who came back from Syria whilst the mother told them about it
  • Sir James Munby reunited a child with his EDL-supporting father saying "we must guard against the risk of social engineering...as the state does not and cannot take away children" but when it comes to Muslims, "More than 30 children have been subjected to judicial orders because they are at risk of indoctrination or are already deemed extremist"
  • Liam Lyburd told police that he intended to “shoot a bunch of people” and blow up Newcastle college – this was not seen as an act of terrorism.
The above small number of case studies demonstrate some of the key concerns with UK terrorism legislation; if you're white, we probably won't notice until it's too late

I really do wonder what this is about because this seems to be more than just rich people protecting their interests. Is it just that the people who go into law enforcement and the military are usually right-leaning, so they have a blind spot for far-right groups? Is it racism? Is it just incompetence?

I don't know. I don't think the government is really going to do anything to Trump. I think they believe that once he is out of office everything will just go back to normal, but I think these people have been emboldened by not just Trump but the inability of the government to really do anything to stop them. I remember when that rancher got in trouble with the government for not paying some such fee and the government went to confiscate his cattle but were met with far-right resistance and backed down. I wonder if the US federal government is a paper tiger. At least domestically.

I don't think the US as we know it is going to survive for much longer. I think we're approaching the end.

While I'd disagree that America is a far right nation, I'd have to agree that government and law enforcement, especially under the Trump administration is decidedly pro-right. And that's not just based on ideology but on race as well. Everyone not adverse to facts know that the events in Washington on the 6th would've played out far differently had that been BLM or the so-called "antifa" out there.

I think it has more to do with g'ment and law enforcement having a blind eye when it comes to white people.
