Apologies for the long overdue reply - the last three months of my life have been a little busy and not allowed for a great deal of online participation. (That trend may or may not continue over the next few months.)
Undoubtedly so, Rubi.
Ouch!
Believe it or not, I did fully (perhaps not fully) understand the humour in question when I had a chance to watch this movie.
I have/did on occasion, but even so it was only towards people whose LPSG name is, or is very similar to, their actual name.
I hear that the drive down was a little something like this? :biggrin1:
I'm so glad you guys made it and I'm curious to see the playlist of the mixtapes!
Ah, I really wanted to be one of the first there, but as it happened I'm glad I wasn't; It would've been nice to see you and Matthew arrive in particular. And my, a hug isn't my standard form of greeting , but it didn't feel unusual at all.
Stfu, you're hot, we've all seen you now!
It was damn good lasagna though.
You're too kind.
Perhaps ironically, when I was at my most talkative was when you were catching a few sly winks on the sofa, you little cutie!
Thing is, (apart from my oft-crippling shyness), the meet took place about three weeks after I arrived in the US and I hadn't got more than 3 or 4 hours sleep for a single night by then, so I was probably even more lackadaisical than usual. That said, there were so many strong personalities present that I was more than happy to sit back and watch the conversation flow. I somewhat enjoy listening and observing people's behaviour. (In the same way I read much, much more than I might post.)
It does the opposite to me.
:biggrin1:
Isn't he a character? I've had the fortune of meeting Tawse and was not disappointed. I can imagine you two would hit it off well - I'm not surprised.
If I have my way, it won't be the last.
I'm going to hunt Rubi down until I know what he looks like. And spear him. From behind. By surprise. Possibly multiple times.

For some reason, I felt more comfortable around Matthew than anyone else(not that anyone evermade me feel uncomfortable). He's such a nice guy and, jesus, looks as young as I am.
Nom nom nom! Third time's a charm.
I confess: my time downstairs was spent furiously mastubrating to the idea of three strong women cornering me with leather strap-ons...
I really did have a fantastic time - meeting half of my LPSG 'wishlist' all at the same time was one hell of an experience. Here's to the next one, wherever it may be and whomever may be in attendance.
Oh DC, don't say that.
Real hosts are rare ... and you are obviously one of the best.
Undoubtedly so, Rubi.
For any of you who have seen the movie, Sordid Lives, I feel like Sissy standing in between LaVonda and LaTrelle. Not a good place to be.
(For those who have not seen it, I recommend it. Great humor, if you understand about Texas culture.)
Ouch!

and a question...Do any of you call each other by your LPSG nickname?
I have/did on occasion, but even so it was only towards people whose LPSG name is, or is very similar to, their actual name.
Matthew came to my house Friday afternoon and collected me up for what turned out to be the highlight of my year. After having spoken many a long hour on the phone (anyone who knows me has sympathy for poor Matthew at this point), he and I hugged in the street as soon as we met, and that great feeling of already knowing someone so well was well rewarded. By the time we got to the Chantilly Eagle (DC's house) we had already solved the problems of the universe and all things that dwelleth therein.

Giddy as schoolchildren, we arrived to be tackled by Lex, Bubba and DC in the front yard. There's such a rush in meeting people you already know so well for the first time, it brought tears to my eyes.
Shortly thereafter, Mercurialbliss, Snoozan and Roux arrived and the hugfest repeated. Ah hugs, I love you all for them! I couldn't believe how pretty everyone was, I think Merc and I pet each other's faces, haha.

DC is a chef extraordinaire, and he had prepared a sit down lasagna dinner for us all and it was so delicious I nearly cried in my plate (shut up- big babes like to eat!).
Stfu, you're hot, we've all seen you now!

Roux was going to be a little harder to get to know, but from reading his posts I knew he'd fit right in with a group like that- he did, and more. His age wouldn't go unnoticed in a more senior group such as that, but he was as he is here- clever, funny, wise and beautiful. It's unfair that he also has the most delightful British accent, had I not been so busy running my own mouth, as I am wont to do, I would have been entreated to more of it. Next time, my precious.
You're too kind.

looking at her pretty face just gave me a sense of calm.
It does the opposite to me.
Tawse (DC's partner) was amazing, he and I hit it off immediately, as I figured we would from how DC had described him.
Isn't he a character? I've had the fortune of meeting Tawse and was not disappointed. I can imagine you two would hit it off well - I'm not surprised.
Thanks to everyone for such a wopnderful experience. 2007 was a rough ride for me, so this inter-holiday extravaganza was more of a treat that I could tell you. I hope we find more occasions to get together, I found you all challenging, beautiful, interesting, intelligent and strange as fuck. Thank Mithra!
If I have my way, it won't be the last.
Rubi, rumour has it that there are nuptials in the future of some LPSG friends. Will you be making the trip? You'd better or I have a team ready to kidnap you!
I'm going to hunt Rubi down until I know what he looks like. And spear him. From behind. By surprise. Possibly multiple times.
She is all that and the proverbial bag of chips. Oh, and one more thing:
She's hawt.
Lovely dark hair, skin, smile, hourglass figure in a stylish form-fitting pink dress and ankle boots.
That beauty and brains thing? Yeah, she's got it in spades. There it is. I've said it.

Matthew is even more handsome than his pics. He has such a merry twinkle in his eyes and keen insight into people. I could see myself sharing a pitcher with him while mulling over life's absurdities. The man loves Stevie Wonder. 'Nuff said.
For some reason, I felt more comfortable around Matthew than anyone else(not that anyone evermade me feel uncomfortable). He's such a nice guy and, jesus, looks as young as I am.
That's all fine and dandy, but when is No_Strings going to devour my buns again? :biggrin1:
Nom nom nom! Third time's a charm.
The way the three of us women hit it off so well
