Pacific, go for it. Sex work is a job of work and if you can make some money from it to make your life easier then why not!
Women have been doing it for decades and decades and there is no shame in it. It doesn't matter if you really enjoy it or not, so long as you're comfortable with it. If you needed money, and had to clean floors to make ends meet for a few weeks would the enjoyment aspect be such a big point? Some customers, regulars, you may enjoy more then others… hell you might find a few customers and that’s all you need to do to make ends meet rather then work fulltime.
Again, there is no shame. The ignominy people are putting on you is ridiculous and I bet the majority of people against it probably have used a prostitute. Selling sex is like selling a massage. You make people happy, and surely that is worth $400! Just make sure you work with a respectable agency (you deserve the best price by the look of things) and like your work mates… this way you’ll never fear for your safety on the street and will therefore have cleaner and richer clients.
And no, I’ve never worked as prossie, but I’ve considered it during my student days but something always came up before I pursed an actual position in a brothel. However, I’ve worked extensively on the history of prostitution and a number of my male friends are exgay prossies, and I can say good on you for being so open about it and don't let stupid morality make a work decision!
