I matched with a really good looking man on Tinder, few days ago , however , he unmatched , don't know why. I only told him I will be arriving soon and I'm looking forward to meet him. No conversation happened after that. He's extremely good looking. Now matter what I do, I can't seem to get over him. Getting depressed even. Should I attempt to find him on social media and ask for another chance.

I could simply cut bait and move on - take the L and keep trying to meet people and interact. Some people are just going to flake and things won't work out. Ghosting people or un-matching is pretty normal now days.

I'd try to not get too upset over it, as it's going to happen a fair bit in honesty. Just keep yourself distracted with things that you enjoy and keep doing you - in time, you eventually get over them. Best of luck swiping and I hope you have better luck next time!

Never put too much stock in someone you've never met just because they're attractive. You're feeling particularly sad because you feel you've somehow lost out on something - probably because of what you're projecting onto him. But he might actually be a terrible person and you may have 'dodged a bullet'. If you matched with a hot guy this time, you will again. Put your energy into people who actually want to connect with you. His loss.

My strategy after my first breakup (granted was with a woman), was to go get laid. I moped around for 6 weeks after the breakup, depressed etc, were together 3 yrs n engaged. Finally I decided to fuck a chick I met online... then another, and another...and so on. lol. Within 2 months i had 3-4 steady fuck buddies and the ex was in the rearview.

Obviously yours is a diff situation cuz u never even met the guy. Like Randy said you prolly dodged a bullet here.

This shit sucks and I think a lot of us have been there. I will say it seems like you dodged a bullet because dude seems like a catfish. There are plenty of hot dudes out there and before you know it you’re gonna look back and laugh at this situation. Hard to see now but hang in there bud. If this was pre covid I’d say hit up a bar and find a guy to make out with haha. Just remind yourself of what a catch you are and how it’s his loss.

I like all your answers , however , why isn't anybody saying that I will get to have another chance at finding him?. I'm really trying, however, the intense feeling isn't going away. Maybe somebody here also matched with him and can ask him to give another chance.

You need to accept the reality of the situation. If it’s meant to be, then it will happen but all signs point to fake/catfish but that’s just my opinion.

What I noticed when reading the original poster (well, he's banned now) posting his messages, seems to me the guy is in an obsessed mode.
