Thanks, catman. Fortunately, I have some use for that old Hotmail account that does noting but generate more SPAM than the sun does heat. I always use it when filling out these hokey on-line opinion polls, especially the American Family hate groups. Thanks again.

i fully support gays in the military as i have stated often...but i am not going to vote in that poll, because i am not giving that stupid organization my name area code and email since they "[FONT=Verdana,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif][FONT=Verdana,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif]may notify you via e-mail of updates on matters of importance."

    they can keep their updates.

But Flashy, that's why you need to have "the other kind" of legitimate e-mail address.

just submitted my vote in favor, and got a web page headed:
Gays in the Military - Bad for America

and links to articles about how chaplains would be forced out, how much damage to our armed services, bla, bla, bla

Congrats Nick, you posted a link from the Center for Military Readiness. It's a "non-partisan" NGO with David Horowitz, Phyllis Shafly and some of the other usual suspects on its board.

And it's leader Elaine Donnelly has argued that the abuses at Abu Graib were because of women and feminism in the military.
Think Progress Top DADT Advocate Says Abu Ghraib Abuses Happened Because Women Are Allowed In The Military

It would probably be a good thing if most the currently serving chaplains were forced out. Then we wouldn't have to worry about radicalized evangelicals in the military thinking they're on some kind of crusade against Islam.

Trust me, it's not near as much trouble as constantly swatting away flying saucers from your front deck in the Nevada desert.
