After a divorce did you try gay sex and end up with a man in a relationship?

I have a friend who only after a divorce came to realize how much he was sexually attracted to other men and eventually ended up in a long term relationship with a man.
He had never been sexually active with other men until his divorce. How common is it for men who find after a marriage that sexually and emotionally they can be fulfilled by a man?

After a divorce I found the great access to information about man 2 man sex and was to make contact. While I had fooled around in theaters while married, I was able to connect with and play with men, which I greatly enjoyed. But I was also fucking several great women at the same time and ultimately decided to remarry. As the sex in that otherwise great marriage diminished I already had a workable alternative.

shouldn't they be gay already to being with before they even consider messing with another man?

I have no idea what that question means, jjpooks, but I'll take a SWAG at it anyway. Just in case you haven't experienced it, when the erect penis comes in contact with another person's hand, mouth, or rectum it results in a wonderfully sexual sensation which can even lead to orgasm, the ultimate sexual sensation. This is true regardless of the gender of the person whose hand, mouth or rectum is so involved. And if the owner of that erect penis is looking only for that physical sensation and has no interest in an emotional connection or relationship with the other guy then, no, he doesn't necessarily have to "be gay already".

Addressing the OP's question, after spending most of my adult life married I learned after my 2nd (and LAST) divorce that I could indeed be sexually fulfilled by a man. But, no, I don't seek emotional fulfillment with men .... I need a woman for that.

I think this is more common in women than in men. For some women, bisexual play is quasi-political, i.e., a reaction to being hurt by, angry with, or just tired of men.

I’ve known guys who’ve had relationships with men after a divorce, but they were extremely bi-curious (essentially gay) anyway.

I do not know how common is for men get with another men after divorce...what I know is that after divorce I could not have sex with anyone for a while. Divorce sucks !!! Different people go wild and have a sex spree marathon all over the place..I guess some people use sex to cope with stuff..like alcohol, drugs, food, etc

I do not date people recently separated or divorced, i know most have lots of healing and issues to deal with still. I like better those who took a healthy date break for a while. The "while" depends on the individual. I am big on prevention to not be sorry later.
