about a month now, all the stitches are gone and there's not a big open wound anymore,
but I've noticed that the skin around is tighter, and my frenulum is the same, if not even shorter/tighter.
And for me atleast, it doesn't look like he has done a Frenuloplasty, and never looked like it:/. but i don't know..
anyway I gonna let it heal a couple more weeks and if i still got problem Im gonna ask for a new frenuloplasty.

I'm in Sweden and it was on the outpatient surgery (same-day surgery)
in this town hospital owned by a private cooperation,
the one who did the procedure just presented himself as a surgeon.

For those of you that undergone frenuloplasty, would you say that the foreskin tends to stay back when retracted after the operation? Does it differ if you have a erection or flaccid?

Whatever that Doctor did, it's not a frenuloplasty. You clearly still have your whole frenulum, just with an added wound in the foreskin.

Here's a video of a proper frenuloplasty to give you an idea of what to expect:

Just the static image on that embedded video makes me a bit woozy. Did they just slice off his frenulum??? Whhhyyyyy???

glockengold, I think you should go see a specialist. As helpful as the people in this thread are trying to be, internet folks are not going to be able to sort this out for you. Going back to the same surgeon who gave you results you're unhappy with isn't going to help you. Go see a specialist. Good luck!

Yesterday i had a meeting with the one who did the surgery and I said to him that the cut is to far down and not on the frenulum, he had a look and just said that a frenuloplasty just helps a millimeter and that sometimes it doesn't work, he said that I'm going to get a circumcision and move the frenulum further down for aestethics. I don't really want to get completely circumcised but it feels like i don't have any choice. he said i could get a new frenuloplasty but that the risk for scar tissue was much higher and then i might need to do another one, so he recommended the circumcision.
doesnt the frenulum diasappear with the complete circumcision?
anyone here that's done a circumcision and moved the frenulum further down??

See. A. New. Doctor.

Did this guy not listen the first time you went in for surgery? How did he not know why you were there? Why would he give you a surgery that he knew would not work for the problem you came in with? Around here that's called malpractice.

You don't want to get circumcised. It sounds like way to intense an intervention for your problem, and it's permanent. This doctor sounds shifty at best, shitty at worst. You don't like the results of the frenuloplasty, why the hell would you trust him to cut off your whole fucking foreskin? See a new doctor.

TBH mate I agree with the top posters. See a new doctor...maybe see about suing the first one for medical incompetence too.

I've had an frenuloplasty (about 6 months ago) and it was done by an urologist who was also specialized in male reproductive system problems (andrology).

The outcome was just like on the video someone posted.

Find an urologist specialized in andrology that also does surgeries.
