I'm not taking it personally at all, really. You're pissed at str8 people, pissed at America and taking all of your frustration out on me. It's payback time for Stronzo, and I'm in the crossfire. Why would I take that personally?
I'm 'pissed off' at stupid people only. If that
happens to describe a goodly portion of those affecting public policy in this land just now that sentiment is certainly not without good foundation. Why do you see yourself as some 'crossfire' victim in this? Don't. Just learn from the exchanges here on this board.
Relax and let go of pre-conceptions imposed on your psyche (largely without your knowledge or permission I might add) and you'll see the world in varying shades of perception.
It's tremenoudly helpful to the effort toward peace. I've seen people conciously choose to remove the yoke (impositions?) of the past and watched the catharsis that follows in turn. It's a joy to watch.
Judging from the conviction of your post, I've no doubt you would do something, if you saw some kid being fondled, molested or abused; of course, you would. You would not stand idly by and watch this.
If I saw some guy with his hand up some screaming child's skirt or some woman with her hand down some playground chap's knickers would I "have at him"? Of course I would.
But rather than being "all about child abuse" I'm more "all about
human abuse" if you get my meaning.
Plus I'm a scrappy fag.
Beyond that I'd encourage you to read up on Baron von Gloeden. His life had depth and purpose and he was an aesthete of a very unique order. Much can be learned from those who follow that "road less travelled".
rayray?
Someone hand me my specs. I think I'm seeing the light.....

clever aren't you?

I've been following this thread and have seen a number of opinions about the situation described. However, there's only one opinion that really matters. That of the 16 year old. If he felt comfortable enough to accompany his father into the steam room and then that's his descision to make. Even though it was a non-sexual situation a 16 year old has enough brains to know what he wants to see or doesn't. Society places so much emphasis on the physical age of 18 as the "legal" age for things such as seeing nude images, or engaging in sexual activity, but let's face it I'm betting that 99% of the guys here were looking at "dirty" magazines or net porn etc. long before they turned 18, and at least 25% probably more like 50% had engaged in some sort of sexual activity with another when they were still under 18, and none of them, myself included have had any negative results from those experiences. Don't judge the young man, his father, or the gym unless you were that 16 year old once and had a severe traumatic experience from it.
Precisely what "Chuck" said up ^ there. Yup.
