Age verification scam or not?

[virgil2]

Does anyone have experience with some of these male porn sites that are "free" but you first have to prove your age by submitting a valid credit card number. They say nothing will be charged, but sounds dangerous to me.

I never give sites any personal info. In my experience they rarely have anything unique or special, just rehashed stuff you can get for free all over the net

Steer clear...... The only time you should give details is to join a bona-fide site.

never give your credit card details to a site you cant verify and if you must make sure the web address begins with 'https'
