Ah-Men catalogue

Did anyone hear subscribe to the Ah-Men catalogue? Did anyone ever buy anything from the catalogue.

For those of you who are, ahem, not a certain age, Ah-Men was a men's store based in Hollywood with mail order business. Back in the 1970s -- yes, I am that old -- the catalogue featured colored underwear or underwear in prints (remember, this was the age of the tighty-whities); caftans, resort wear, swim wear (low cut and bikini briefs for men in an era of boxy, square swimming trunks), etc.

I saw the company's ad in one of my mother's magazine (Home and Garden? House Beautiful?). The company charged 25 cents for the catalog. I sent for a catalogue ... hey, I just taped a quarter to my request.

To be honest, the catalogue gave me many hours of pleasure

Just wonderin' if anyone else has the same memories.

Yes, I bought from their Hollywood store way b ack then. I got several of their pouches that supported my balls and let my dick hang free. Don't remember what they were called but they sure were comfortable.

Barry, it was before my time but I enjoy looking at vintage advertisements. Male models (and guys in general) seemed more natural and wholesome back then.

There also was Parr of Arizona. Their foam rubber swim cups were *way* too small. AhMen cups were slightly larger.

There was also Parr of Arizona. For some reason my Dad received the catalogs in the mail. He immediately threw them away, but I was always scouting the trash to retrieve them in secret. Many, many hours of pleasure for me when I was 13-15 years old.

I also understand that Parr of Arizona used ordinary local non-professional dudes for their models which I really appreciate.
