It's not uncommon for TV shows to start a romance with another contestant when there is possible dirt coming out (Like sexuality) in order to keep the ratings up until the show is over.

So my guess is, people were starting to see he was a bit camp and the PR people dove into action.

We’re from the same part of the UK. My best friend is best mates with his ex who she’s known since infant school

Alex (AJ) basically started working with this new PR firm when he went into Strictly. He’s super thirsty for fame and stuff and they decided he was an easier selll if he was a str8 stud they could market to tween girls.

He broke it off with his ex to fuel the big break. Matt (ex) was heartbroken. They had been together a while. When the mollie thing happened, he was tempted to leak some sex vids/pics they had made. But my friend talked him out of it (cos it’s illegal!)
