Okay, so the past few nights I've been having sex with a new girl, but things have been kind of rough. The first night I was drunk, not too drunk, but drunk enough to the point where I was unable to cum. My stamina is usually pretty long to begin with, so when I'm intoxicated it's even worse.

The second night, I found myself losing an erection during sex. She had to give me head in between sex twice and finally I was able to cum.

I usually have trouble keeping hard after 3 pints of beer (which has the plant equivalent of female hormone - phytoestrogen in it)

However if you can stop after 1 glass of wine etc, it will actually help give you a harder erection due to the vasodilation caused by alcohol.

I hate to be a bitch but you have a drinking problem. I base this on the fact that the only man who ever chose alcohol over sex with me was a raging alcoholic. You're probably a nice guy, but you need to nip this in the bud before it destroys your life.

The relationship i've been in for the last 8 months started with many evenings where we'd drunk a bottle of vodka between us. I'm 43 and hadn't had reason to find out if I could still get it up after that much drink for 10+ years. I amazed myself but then she is a wondrefully sexy woman.... too much alcohol kills my libido. when i'm really drunk (not like after a few beers, but after a lot of vodka), it would be impossible for me to have sex of any kind. i couldn't get it up, i couldn't function enough to take an active role in things, and i most certainly could not cum. give me too much liquor, it'd be best to just let me sleep.

When I was a younger man and I would drink before or during a date, the alcohol seemed to dull my senses enough that I could last a long time. It did not affect the firmness of my erection. But you will find as you get older alcohol can affect the libido and the erections will not be as firm and can sometimes kill the erection. This is from a couple of beers and not a bottle of anything alcoholic. So I don't drink at all when it is time for a date. Not being able to get a erection can be a relationship killer. Believe me she will take it personally.

Personally I prefer to be sober during sex. I've noticed at the ripe old age of 47 that any booze at all lessens sensation and deflates the erection.

There's also judgment impairment associated with fucking while intoxicated. There are some things that you can't just undo in the morning.
