So here’s an update guys, I found a 70mm ring on a magicians supplies site for $15. I thought I could get away with the 3mm difference, but alas not! With plenty of oil, I could just get 1 ball through - but no chance of getting the other one in, let alone the cock! Will post pics soon!!

Very nice indeed, I have metal working skills and have just machined one out of aluminum just for fitting purposes, next I'll machine a stainless one. For anyone wanting a solid ring, I found the sizing to be quite critical, even a millimeter on the radius makes a difference.
