My beef with this whole thing is that the assumtions are that an all white league will lead to a game based mostly on basketball fundamentals. This Lewis is basically saying, "White men cant jump" or wont because they have more respect for the game. Which is bullshit.

How many little white boys grow up playing in the school yard at recess playing basketball saying, "OK, I will be Jordan, and you be Kobe", or "I am LeBron James, guard me."? People will emulate who they look up to.

Look at the European leagues where a lot of white players are coming to the NBA. Lets start that discussion.

I have met, played with, and watched many a fundamental black basketball player. The only knock I have on the NBA guys now is they play less as a team than 20+ years ago.

Wait a minute now... I know some brothers from the mid west who have game in terms of hockey so.... As for the all while league. He can name it whatever he wants most people see through it. That is only because they want to play one 1/2 the game... the offense side. Happened in the 70 and 80s too my friend, take that from someone that was there. What I'm saying is individually we have the most gifted/talented players in the world but when they don't play like a team...(ever wonder why we don't always win in the olympics)..

True, yet because it was a 3 credit class in college, and fulfilled my physical education requirement; I am proud to say I am a solid, intermediate level skiier. :smile: However, I refuse to ski in single digit weather. That's just too cold for me. :redface:

No, I snow ski. I suck at water skiing because I have very little upper body strength. I was also an American Red Cross certified lifeguard from the ages of 25-30 though. Any more stereotypes you want me to debunk for you. :irked:
