reality TV shows are scripted if you did not know even those two

It's a shame everyone can't listen to Petros Papadakis' Bachelorette recaps because they're priceless. Papadakis normal day job is talking sports and everything USC on L.A. radio station 570 KLAC, but sometime back he was persuaded to go over to the dark side and review this....this...contrived, scripted drivel for the 99% of us who don't have the fortitude to watch the unfolding farce on TV.

The Bachelorette, unlike the Bachelor, has the progressive obligation and marching orders from ABC to show men at their foolhardy, competitive, chest-beating worst while attempting to woo a woman selected for that season. Whereas on the Bachelor women must be carefully depicted as noble and morally pure creatures striving to find monogamous love, men on the Bachelorette can be scripted to be the most stereotypical of egocentric jerks with the I.Q. of an eggplant.

Want to be a fortune-telling prognosticator? Anytime you see a Bachelorette candidate like male-model Jordan Kimball your senses should kick-in and realize this guy has a really short episode shelf-life. When he was negotiating his television contract, Kimball must have protested to Mike Fleiss or one of the other producers how his character would be written. Who wants to walk around in a pair of tight swim trunks on national TV showing the world you have a package the size of a thimble?
