You can get cut at any age without much trouble. It is a fairly standard and trivial procedure. I got cut at 21 with no underlying medical conditions and apart from the cost and having to abstain for 20ish days post op, I have nothing negative to report. As for positives, in my case:
- More uniform stimulation during sex as there is no foreskin sliding around and the glans is in constant contact with the vagina. I am not sure if this has in and of itself gave me more stamina (or I just became more experienced/got older), but I feel more confident during sex and have better orgasm control. Could also be psychological.
- I feel cleaner. The cock is nice and dry and literally smells like nothing. I know you can wash it, but if no facilities are available or sex is spontaneous, it’s night and day cleaner. Uncut cock would get moist and regain its specific smell within 30 mins post showering. My girlfriend is particularly happy with this matter and this has also been a boost to our sex life.
- No more random pubes or lint stuck in your foreskin.
- Condoms are easier to put on and fit better.
- I prefer the looks.
General points:
- Reduced risk of infections, cancer or other issues with it later on.
- The vast majority of women do not care about it and those that do, almost always prefer circumcised.
Other matters:
- Your masturbation technique may need to change a bit.
- If you live in an area where uncut is the norm, you may need to explain how you like to be touched or handled. I suppose the same is true if you are uncut and most partners had only experienced cut before you. I only had one semi-negative experience with an Eastern European lady who kept pulling at my shaft skin despite the fact that I have close to no slack/movement left when hard. She found it a bit harder to adapt to the fact that I liked direct stimulation over the head, as all her exes (which I assume were uncut) had ultra sensitive glanses.
Ultimately it is your call as to which of these points most matter to you. I do however think it is a valid issue to consider and I recommend you neither rush into it without careful thought, nor dismiss it right away. If you do decide to get circumcised, rest assured that it is very unlikely you will regret it. The only regret I keep hearing from guys in your position is that they waited for so long to get cut.
