Am I a grower or a shower???

I always thought of myself as a grower. Like I would never show off my cock if it wasn't at least semi hard. But ever since coming to this site I have been paying more attention to it in its various states and it seems to range from 4-6" soft. I am 7.5-8" long hard (depending on how excited I am).

It looks very small to me in that pic and I was surprised when it measured just shy of 6". I hear people around here talking as if that's a big soft size.

By definition though I would say you are both.

A shower is one that looks great and big when soft. You win with flying colors there.

A grower is one that is much larger hard than soft. You win there as well.

There are some guys that the size doesn't increase much at all if any when they are hard. They are called showers because the length is about the same all the time.

You automatically used the word "or" as if that is the only possibilty. It doesn't have to be "or". It could be "and". It could be "neither". Let's use some data to help arrive at an accurate assessment. To help clarify, let's go with the mid of your ranges - 5 flaccid, 7.75 erect, 2.75 increase. From the data below it appears you are definitely a shower, but you also qualify as a grower to some extent.

On that chart notice that the 200 Turkish men had a combined averaged flaccid of 2.7" and upon erection 5.0". The largest flaccid on the chart is homosexual men at 4.1" and their overall erect size at 6.5".
Here, from the lines in which there is a flaccid to erect comparison I'll put it all in order from shortest flaccid to longest flaccid:

At another site, Thundersplace, overall the 3" flaccids averaged out to 5.75" erect (grew 2.75") and the 5" flaccids averaged out to 7.25" erect (grew 2.25"). Thundersplace's penis size chart closely matches doctor studies, so it stands to reason that it's flaccid to erect database can pretty much be trusted to be accurate enough to trust the flaccid to erect correlation .

I didn't know it was possible to be both. Thing is that mine looks small to me anytime but when I have a semi, so I automatically think its too small. Maybe because I have big hands? I dunno....

The averaged growth is 2.5". So it requires at least over 2.5" increase to be a grower. 3.5" is averaged flaccid. So it requires at least more than 3.5" flaccid to be a shower. It could be argued that a step outside a typical range is required before one could be considered a grower and/or a shower and that makes the most sense to me. Looking at the charts it approximately appears that at least a 2.75" increase may be needed to really be considered a grower, and that at least 4" flaccid may be needed in order to be considered a shower.
